ABOUT US

our story

Like many baseball parents, I wanted to give my son every opportunity to reach his potential.
We invested in private lessons, camps, clinics, and countless hours of practice. While many instructors were knowledgeable and genuinely cared about helping players improve, I often left lessons wondering:
The lesson would end, we’d drive home, and we’d do our best to remember everything that had been covered. There was rarely a lasting visual reference, objective comparison, or measurable way to track improvement over time.
As a former Division I athlete and a university researcher whose career centers on data and analysis, that process felt incomplete.
In research, you don’t rely on memory or opinions alone. You establish a baseline, compare it against a proven standard, identify what is different, make targeted adjustments, and measure the results. Improvement is something you can see and quantify.
Why shouldn’t player development work the same way?

ModelSwing

ModelSwing combines professional video analysis with an objective, evidence-based approach to player development. Every swing is compared side-by-side with elite hitters using synchronized video, frame-by-frame analysis, visual overlays, and clear mechanical checkpoints. Players don’t just hear what needs to change, they can actually see it.

Our goal

Our goal isn’t to replace great coaches. In fact, the best coaches already use video to reinforce what they teach.
ModelSwing gives players, parents, and coaches a permanent visual reference that makes every lesson more valuable and every practice more intentional.
Whether you’re just beginning your baseball journey or competing at the highest levels, our mission is simple:

Replace guesswork with measurable improvement
